Hi! I found your blog and thought I’d respond to your (now very old) question.

I use Troy & Genie Nilsson’s cd’s with my church kids. They are very well done, and an excellent resource! Troy & Genie used to be on the Brentwood Kids Music label (commonly sold at Family Christian Stores), but decided to start recording out of their home. They now rescue orphans from around the world.

Their website is pretty wierd (they went Amish for awhile, I think) but their music is tremendous. I have almost everything they’ve ever made! You can download their entire collection for whatever amount you can afford! It’s an amazing deal and completely not copyrighted, so you can share with whomever you’d like! Tommy’s newest favorite CD is one I got from my friends who live in a common-purse Christian community…one of their fellow communities has produced several albums of Bible verses set to music. I actually find myself singing scripture throughout the day when we listen to it! Only problem–the songs are mostly based on NASB/NIV, and as we’ve discussed, our kiddos will probably be memorizing in ESV. But for what it’s worth:

I can’t suggest anything new but I can reminisce with you regarding Psalty and G.T and the Halo express! We actually did a kids musical to G.T. and the Halo express. Such good times.
